Satish, 50 years of age , is more ambitious about his already successful Bread business namely "Satish Breads ". He has a good reputation in the market . He is known as the bread king of the state . But he is a very egoistic and old fashioned thinker about women . His philosophy about women is that they are born only to take care of the kitchen and other household activities . He has a wife ( Tripti ) and a 18 years young daughter ( Alisa) in his family . His wife is a simple housewoman , like Satish wants her to be . Tripti doesn't interfere in any kind of business and as well as in important life decisions of their family . She just follows and obeys her husband's decisions quietly . Whereas her daughter Alisa is born with a little different thought process or actually with quite a different way of thinking than her mother . She always tries to be expressive with her father in important decision making. But her father never likes her involvement because he thinks the woman's brain is not much capable compared to man's . And also Alisa isn't considered a good academic student because her mind is more interested in creative learnings than academics , which also Satish doesn't like about Alisa , he believes that those who are not good at academics have no mind and are not capable of doing anything in life . That's why Satish has told Alisa and Tripti that after completing her college , Alisa should get married and get herself settled . But Alisa has other ideas for herself . She has expressed her heart to Satish that like him she also wants to do a business of his own and wants to do it even bigger than Satish. Satish always laughs at Alisa and more on the thought that a woman is aspiring about business . He sometimes makes fun of Alisa in front of their relatives for her willingness to be a business woman. Like , once, in a family function her Dad was sitting with his good old friend in personal life and good competitor in professional life , Mr . Raj Batra . Raj is considered as the previous king of bread in the state before Satish entered this business . Raj Breads is still a highly reputed name in the bread market . During that informal meeting, Raj asked about Alisa's future plans for career . Satish again disrespects her own daughter by saying , "In dreams she will be a business queen , just in dream , in reality soon getting married " and adds these modern girls think they can compete with men in business " . Raj also replies by making her fun " silly confidence " . They both take the drink glass and keep on laughing for a few seconds . Alisa feels completely humiliated but doesn't say anything to her father or mother about this , even later . She sometimes just cries alone in her room to lighten her heart as this type of humiliation is regular for her . Satish often repeats strictly to Alisa that women can't do business, it is not their cup of tea, and wants her to marry as he told her before . Tripti also takes the side of Satish believing in not believing her daughter and in her capabilities .Alisa is hurt but she is full of confidence in herself irrespective of anything said for and to her by parents . She is passionate about thinking and learning about business ideas all day . She likes to read business books , enjoys to read or listen about big business people and she does it with full honest devotion and doesn't want to marry before becoming a good recognised business woman. Between family conflicts suddenly a tragedy in their business happens . The samples of breads fail in the tests of the government . The fact has spread all over the market and as well as among customers . Satish is betrayed by one of his employees but he is unaware about this . The sale comes down drastically and Satish is taken by government authorities for failure in compliance with the food act . The goodwill of Satish Breads vanishes all of sudden as news gets printed in newspapers and telecasted on news channels across the state . Tripti and Alisa are feeling helpless and hopeless about how to save Satish and Satish Breads from such a big issue . Satish while under govt. authority gets a heart attack and he expires immediately . Another icing on the cake for tripti and alisa .
After a few days , Tripti is advised by a relative to wind up the business as it is in loss and looks like it has no future now . For the winding up process she calls a few employees and their business lawyer to help her . Alisa is unaware of this ,but as the lawyer reaches their house, Alisa asks the question to his mother about why the lawyer is called up ? Tripti shares the reason to Alisa that business is almost dead and who will run this ? , we are advised by some mindful people to shut it down immediately and think of something else for the future . As Alisa listens to this she immediately resists and says , "no need to think like that I will ".
Tripti : "But Alisa , it is not a child's play ".
Alisa : "And I am no longer a child , mom . If you don't believe in me that's your problem , not mine".
Tripti : you are stubborn , but if anything more worse happens , you will have to bear it , keep it in mind .
Alisa keeps her strong and starts going business to rebuild it . A very loyal employee ,who himself comes to know the truth recently , tells Alisa with courage that one of their employees was bribed by their competitor to help them remove the Satish Breads from the market and they could do it by defaming it . He said , he has listened to that employee's phone talk accidentally , he was talking to Mr .Raj Batra ,yes, the owner of Raj Breads and a good old friend of Satish . Alisa is shocked , how can she believe that their family friend Raj uncle did all damage to them . She calls the bribed employee and asks him to tell the truth if he has betrayed them , giving assurance that she will forgive him if he tells everything as it went and also asks him who is the conspiracy writer and director otherwise she is calling the corp to deal with him . The employee is scared of the thought of being arrested , in a scary tone he tells her all that, " Raj is jealous of the success of Satish Breads , wants to be the king of the industry again . So his jealousy made him do this all ". He tells Alisa that one day Raj called him in his office and offered him good money . Alisa then asks the Employee about how samples failed .
He tells her that he mixed some unallowed chemical during manufacturing of certain lot of breads and himself informed to government authority anonymously , and adds that he is guilty and apologies, Alisa slaps her for betraying their business. Alisa with her bravery and intelligence first gets the betrayed employee and then the culprit competitor Raj Batra arrested and secondly with her business learnings makes Satish Bread again a loyal bread brand among customers . She triples up the layers of quality check of their breads and reaches the customers with this information by good marketing . She also makes employees motivated and makes them learn some good business techniques that she learnt by books and some by self creativity. Things many times didn't work out but she keeps resilience and uses her gained knowledge of business to overcome the hurdles.
She is a successful business woman now , as she always wants to be. Within 6 months she has taken their business from state level to national level and she is now renowned as Bread queen in the country . Her mother tripti is also proud of her for what she has done for her father and also for herself . Alisa is now standing in front of his late father's photoframe ,
Saying ,
" Dad , you never believed in me and my business ideas but sorry Dad I broke your trust , sorry Dad I proved you wrong , i made it , sorry Dad I made it "
