Vikram Adithya is the only son of his family. His father Ravi Anand is an IT employee. His mother Kamala Ravi Anand is a homemaker. They were proud of their son as he was studious and respects all elders and because of which he was popular among his teachers. But they were concerned that Vikram didn't had friends. Considered as teachers' pet, other students avioded him as they didn't like the way he is close with the teachers. He feels for being alone with no friends. He had no friends till 10std. He topped the 10th board exams and became school first. He chose computer science stream in 11th std in the same school. Many new students from various schools joined 11th std in his school. One among those was Rahul Kumar. Rahul was the topper of his school but as his school didn't have 11th class he, along with 3 of his friends named Arun Kumar, Ashok Siddharth and Vijay Ashwin joined Vikram's school. On Day 1 students' seating were done based on the height order. Rahul and Vikram were made to sit together. Vikram and Rahul became thick friends. Vikram started feeling Rahul as a member of his family. Rahul introduced all his 3 friends Arun Kumar, Ashok Siddharth and Vijay Ashwin to Vikram. They 5 formed a gang. Vikram finally has got friends after 15 years. All these 5 were in the top 10 ranks. Rahul and Vikram were fighting for the first rank but it was a healthy competition. Two years passed quickly and now it's the farewell party all students were enjoying it. Apart from this students arranged for another farewell party in a hotel. Then the 12th board exams came. Vikram did the exams well. After the exams Vikram tried contacting Rahul but his attempts failed. He inquired with their 3 friends but they also had no idea. Rahul has left the city without informing anybody. Vikram was saddened of losing his best friend Rahul. Vikram appeared for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) but failed to crack it as Rahul's absence hurted him. He took one year break from studies and appeared for JEE exam again and this time he cleared it and got All India Rank of 12 and got seat in Indian Institutes of Technology Madras (IITM). The college started and he, as he was in school till 10 class, became teachers' pet with no friends. Only a girl named Krithika liked Vikram and became his friend. Their friendship was going smoothly. In the final year Krithika said her parents wants her to get married. On hearing this Vikram was again saddened and understood that the relationship between him and Krithika is not friendship but it's love. He thought before talking to Krithika about this he should talk to her parents about it. So he went to Krithika's house, when she was not at home to talk to her parents. When he went there they received him and showed him a person's photo stating that he is the boy they have seen for Krithika's marriage. On seeing that photo Vikram was shocked as the person in that photo was Rahul. They said that Krithika is saying that she is not ready for marriage. They asked him to talk to her about it. Vikram agreed and convinced Krithika to this marriage. After that she met Rahul in a cafe and they spoke for a couple of hours and they both liked each other. During marriage shopping Krithika wanted Vikram to accompany her. Initially Vikram refused but Krithika was adamant and so Vikram agreed to accompany her. During shopping Krithika introduced Vikram to Rahul. On seeing Vikram, Rahul got emotional but Vikram became angry and left the place. Rahul explained everything to Krithika. Both Krithika and Rahul went to Vikram's house. Vikram didn't wanted to Rahul but Krithika told the truth that on their farewell party outside the school, as Rahul was spending quality time with his friends, he didn't notice the messages and phone calls from his parents. They tried contacting him as his brother got an accident and Rahul didn't see the phone calls and messages and went home lately. This made his family members angry on him and they considered Rahul's friendship was an unhealthy relationship and therefore they isolated him from his friends and switched over to Pune. After hearing this, Vikram was convinced and he went to Rahul and hugged him. Then Vikram was happy as he got his friendship back by sacrificing his love for Krithika. He started business after the completion of his degree accompanied by his friends. Then the marriage got over between Krithika and Rahul and Vikram got a huge success in his business and all the three were happily continuing their friendship and life. Then Rahul and Krithika found a pair for Vikram named Ramya and Vikram married Ramya as per his friends' wish. They all lived happily forever as friends.
