A graduate of Brown University with a degree in Anthropology, I was able to gain an understanding of how our environment influences human behaviour. I grew up in Mumbai, India, where I developed a deep passion for social impact and education. A graduate of Brown University with a degree in Anthropology, I was able to gain an understanding of how our environment influences human behaviour.
I have worked extensively with children, running a low-income school in Mumbai and founding a nonprofit addressing food insecurity among homeless children. I am now based in Singapore, working as the Regional Environmental Social and Governance Director at Naumi Hotels, focusing on projects related to women’s development and children’s education. 
It has been my experiences working with people from diverse backgrounds that have inspired my belief in the power of mindset and resilience in overcoming challenges.
As a mother of a two-year-old and having recently faced challenges that led me to reflect deeply on personal growth, I felt inspired to write a story that empowers children to recognise their own ability to create happiness by choosing how to react to life’s events.
