With over 26 years of experience at the intersection of design and technology, Alipta Ballav began his career in the information technology industry in Kolkata back in 1998. Since then, he has worked with some of the most respected global organizations including Wipro, Harman, and Cerner Corporation (now Oracle), playing key roles as both as a hands-on designer and a design leader shaping product strategy and user experience.
Today, Alipta leads Product Design at Microsoft Bangalore studio, where he continues to drive innovation and user-centric thinking across complex product ecosystems.
Beyond the workplace, Alipta is a passionate design advocate. He runs a thriving design community and regularly shares his thoughts as a public speaker at conferences and on podcasts.
