Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalTo the silent observers of the night, the ones who walk the shadowed alleys of Ghaziabad, whose stories are etched in the grit of its streets and the weariness of their eyes. To the unsung heroes who tirelessly pursue justice in the face of overwhelming darkness, their dedication a beacon against the encroaching shadows. This novel is a tribute to the relentless spirit of those who seek truth, even when it’s buried deep beneath layers of deception, corruption, and the brutal realities of a city that never truly sleeps. May their vigilance never waver, and may their efforts, often unseen, bring a sliver of light to the darkest corners. To the memory of every victim whose voice was silenced, and to the unwavering pursuit of closure for those left behind. This is for the ACPs who navigate the labyrinth of crime, the forensic pathologists who decipher the silent testimony of the deceased, and for everyone who believes that even in the grimmest of circumstances, truth will prevail.

Dr. Harendra Singh Bansal
Dr. Harendra Singh Bansal, fondly known as Harry among his friends, is a seasoned medical professional and a passionate storyteller. Born and raised in Ghaziabad, he began his academic journey at St. Mary’s Convent School and later at D.A.V. Public School, where his curiosity and compassion first took root. He pursued his MBBS at LLRM Medical College, Meerut, and subsequently earned his MD in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology from MLN Medical College, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
With years of experience in forensic medicine, Dr. Bansal brings a unique perspective to his writing—one that blends scientific precision with emotional depth. His debut book, Journey of the Dead, is a poignant exploration of the human stories behind the autopsy table, reflecting his deep empathy for the lives touched by tragedy and his unwavering commitment to truth and justice.
When he’s not immersed in case files or crafting narratives, Dr. Bansal enjoys quiet reflection, meaningful conversations, and the occasional walk under moonlit skies—where the whispers of the past often inspire his prose.
