Lieut. Dr. J. Prabhu expertise in Supramolecular chemistry-based sensors, Organic sensors and Nano sensors. Lieut. Dr. J. Prabhu has more than 19 years of experience in the field of Education and research. He has also got trained in the field of Scientific glass blowing and Simple chemicals from Tamil Nadu Scientific glass blowing Centre and Ministry of Micro, Small, & Medium Enterprises (MSME). In addition, he is holding two stars on his shoulder as Associate NCC officer of 4(TN) Battalion, NCC and Himalayan Wood Badge (University Level) of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Tamil Nadu, India and successfully completed SSB interview course in the year of 2003 (12/DESSC/ATC/156/ Chest No.8) at Bangalore station. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in the Division of Physical Sciences, Karunya Institute of Technology and Science. To his credit, he has written TWO books, THREE book chapters, TWO GRANTED national patents and published more than 35 research papers in peer-reviewed international and national journals
Dr. R. Nandhakumar, a professor, specializes in organic and supramolecular chemistry. He received both his UG, PG and Ph.D., degree in Chemistry from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Presently, he is the Professor of Chemistry at the Division of Physical Sciences, Karunya Institute of Technology and Science. His research interests include Bio-organic Chemistry, Carbon-based materials, Fluorescent Chemosensors, Chirality and forensic sciences. He has successfully completed several projects from various funding agencies and guided SIX doctoral students. To his credit, he has written THREE books, SEVEN book chapters, TWO international patents (Granted), FIFTEEN national patents (TWELVE GRANTED), and published more than 190 research papers (including 5 review articles) in peer-reviewed international and national journals. He is also the director of the company called Four I R & D Tech Solutions, PVT Ltd., Coimbatore which is a startup company.
