Dr. Koje is the first scholar from Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), Arunachal Pradesh, to develop innovative Model English textbooks for primary school children in Classes I, II, and III. These textbooks incorporate local folktales and folksongs, integrating culture into the classroom for the first time.
 
She is a pioneer in establishing the written literature of the Boh Ramo Bokar Community through her research and holds the distinction of being the first doctorate in English from Shi Yomi District.
