Dr. Vellingiri Raja Badrakalimuthu, an award-winning consultant psychiatrist in the UK and an author, hails from Satyamangalam. Inspired by his mother's stories, his published works have garnered praise for being captivating, emotionally charged, and heart-touching. Beyond his literary pursuits, Dr. Badrakalimuthu is an enthusiastic globetrotter, having sailed the Amazon and Nile, explored the Arctic Circle and Sahara, traversed Russia, Mongolia, and China on the Trans-Siberian Express, and conquered Everest Base Camp and Kilimanjaro.
