Dr. Bidhan Chandra (B.C.) Roy is a globally recognized structural engineer and infrastructure consultant with over 50 years of industry experience. A Fellow of top engineering institutions worldwide (including INAE, ASCE, IABSE, IStructE and ICE), he has been the driving force behind several landmark projects. His extensive leadership portfolio includes the award-winning Nivedita Setu, India’s first river-crossing metro system, and massive urban transit networks across India and Africa. Formerly an advisor and executive for organizations like CPPL, CES, Jacobs CES, and AECOM, Dr. Roy currently serves on the Board of Directors for RUPL and RUICPL. This is his fourth book.
