Upamanyu Hazarika is a Senior Advocate in Delhi, from an ethnic Assamese background, who grew up during the turbulent days of the Assam Agitation in which 855 people were martyred, leaving a lifelong impression. He is dedicated to finding a long-term solution to the century-old conflict between indigenous communities and immigrants in Assam, advocating for a framework of incentives and disincentives.
Shantanu Parashar is a scholar and administrator with a background in Sociology and Public Administration. Serving as a District Project Supervisor for NRC in the key bordering district of Dhubri, he brings a wealth of insights and ground understanding of the entire NRC process.
