The Society of Occupational and Environmental Medicine is a society under the Malaysian Medical Association, serving as a platform for medical professionals interested in the field of occupational and environmental medicine to get together and share their experiences. The society also serve as a body for occupational and environmental medicine practitioner to raise their concerns to the authorities involve in occupational safety and health in this country such as the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), the Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) and the Ministry of Health.
The Society is also active in promoting continuous medical education by organising series of seminars and clinical case discussions throughout the year. Currently, The Society is the most active society within MMA.
