Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalIn a world that tempts us to compartmentalize our faith—piety on Sunday, ambition the rest of the week—One Life in Christ boldly proclaims the truth at the heart of Catholic living: there is only one life, and it belongs entirely to Jesus Christ. This practical, deeply scriptural guide rejects the sacred/secular divide, inviting every Catholic to live with radical integrity, where work, relationships, struggles, and joys become acts of worship and love offered to the Lord.
Drawing from Sacred Scripture, the teachings of the Church, the sacraments, and the lived wisdom of the saints, the book walks readers through everyday challenges with clarity and compassion. It explores how to submit human reason to divine Wisdom, anchor daily life in the Eucharist and Confession, choose objective moral truth over relativism, steward wealth and work generously, guard the senses against vice, forgive deeply, embrace spiritual dryness as purification, and navigate loneliness, anxiety, family planning, and multi-religious settings with faithful witness.
This is an invitation to total surrender: to let Christ live in us fully, transforming one ordinary life into extraordinary sanctity. For singles and families, young and old, weary and seeking—One Life in Christ offers hope, direction, and the promise of eternal beatitude. Step into the adventure of living fully in Him.

Clifford Savio Gomes
Clifford Savio Gomes is a lay Catholic from Saligao, Goa, India. A commerce graduate with postgraduate diplomas in Disaster Management and Criminology & Forensic Science, he has worked in commercial fields and volunteered full-time at Mãe de Deus Parish. Through life’s various battles and a deep, ongoing engagement with Scripture, Clifford has come to see that there is only one life — the life God gives us — and Christ desires every part of it. This book is the fruit of that realization: humble reflections on living faithfully in the ordinary, offering everything to Jesus, and choosing the biblical path in a secular world.
He continues to serve in his parish community and prays that these pages may help readers draw closer to Christ — the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
