A position does not define a person, but a person defines the position. Dr. Kiran Bedi defined the position of the Lt. Governor of Puducherry. I have strived to share my work as an intern at Raj Nivas in a simple and forthright manner for the benefit of readers. I hope to impact the student community by awakening their inner potential for dedicating themselves to ‘work’ from a young age by continually learning to upscale their individual talent. My collaborative work with the Government departments and meeting with the Collector of Karaikal gave me an eagle’s eye into the multifold facets of administrative governance. This book aims to inspire young minds to channel their energy for the welfare of our motherland. Documenting my experiences and learnings in the book covers personal writings and prepared reports during the internship. Lt. Governor Dr. Kiran Bedi is known as a fearless police officer. I witnessed the Lt. Governor’s motherly side in ensuring the academic progress of interns at Raj Nivas. Krithik Kailash
Krithik Kailash, an undergraduate law student at Christ University, received the ‘Best Orator of the Year’ award during his schooling at Sarala Birla Academy.In September 2019, he felt a strong desire for mentorship, leading him to intern at the office of Puducherry’s Lieutenant Governor Dr. Kiran Bedi.He worked extensively on initiatives such as Jal Shakti Abhiyan, Mission Water Rich Puducherry, Mission Green Puducherry, Outreach Programs – Rural education, and field visits.
Kailash’s reading habits are extensive, with the Bhagavad Gita deeply influencing his perspective on leading a purposeful life. He attributes his strong values of spirituality and inner strength to his parents, for which he is grateful. Additionally, Kailash is enthusiastic about playing both tennis and football.
Dr. Kiran Bedi, the Lieutenant Governor, described Kailash as a ‘young man of character and strong value systems’ in a tweet shared across various social media platforms. Currently, Kailash is interning at the Chambers of Hon’ble Justice P.S Dinesh Kumar at the Karnataka High Court. In the foreword of this book ‘People’s Governor,’ Justice P.S Dinesh Kumar describes him as a ‘young, energetic, and smart budding lawyer.’
At the age of twenty-one, Kailash is about to publish his first book, which documents his lifetime experiences as an intern at the office of Lieutenant Governor Dr. Kiran Bedi.
