A V Ram Mohan considers writing to be a more meaningful form of expression, since there is more thought involved in writing something, or indeed anything. Beginning with a series of case studies while at IIMA, continuing with a number of business articles in Business Line magazine during his working life, and culminating in two collections of short stories upon retirement, he has tackled many subjects in education and entertainment. However, ‘Report writing skills for the Young Professional’ is his first work which pretends to set out some theory and practice of report writing in a professional setting.
As a member of the self absorbed generation of Indians, Ram Mohan writes primarily to entertain himself, and to amuse his friends, of whom there is a legion.
