Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalWhat is dhyana? Dhyana is grace! Dhyana is Astitva's grace - it happens. Nobody can 'do' dhyana. What is 'done' is a method, an action and dhyana is a 'happening', an occurrence.
Dhyana is Paramatma's grace. It is a 'happening', where the mind is not present. it is a 'no-mind' state, where there are no thoughts, there is no duality, there is no 'for' or 'against', no holy-unholy, no good-bad, no sin or virtues - there is nothing. 'Doing' is not dhyana as there is movement involved in 'doing', and movement is not dhyana. Dhyana is peace, dhyana is calm, and in order to relax, one has to get out of a calculative mindset. This stepping out of an arithmetic-mind is called dhyana.

Swami Maitreyanand
Swami Maitreyanand is an Enlightened Master who attained self-realisation at a very young age. Ever since then, he has been helping spiritual seekers overcome any challenges and obstructions they may be facing on their journey of self-realisation. Having spent innumerable hours in his childhood meditating in the jungles with wild animals sitting close by, he feels very strongly about the preservation and importance of wildlife. Being a nature lover since childhood, he was inspired to write poems. Many of them are now available on his YouTube channel, 'Siddha Sangeet', having taken the form of songs. A book on these poems is also on its way to be released soon.
'Atmagyan ka Vigyan', a Hindi text, comprising of his discourses in question-answer format, has already been published.
Swamiji's sole intent is to help seekers' connect with their inner-self in such a way that they come to know their true-self in this life itself, and in his words, "make the jump." His discourses or 'deshanas', as they are known, open one's heart and take them on a self-reflective journey. Every conversation between the seeker and Swamiji has the power to break personal barriers that keep one stuck in the loop of death and rebirth.
