Aaruni Akki writes her stories just how she’s always written them. She doesn’t aim for perfection and flawless lines, she is more interested in capturing emotion and they’re about what it is like to imagine. This is her third book and just like the others it clings onto the spirit of the stories she wrote in her journal when younger. When not writing, she sings, plays guitar, violin, swims and plays chess. Reading her old poems remind her of the originality the world needs more of. She doesn’t miss a single opportunity for participating in competitions, and it is never to prove something but because of the joy of creating or performing.
