Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThe Belligerent Doctor is a reflective examination of modern healthcare and the moral tensions that arise when professional judgement collides with institutional power. Drawing on more than four decades of clinical practice and leadership, the author explores how systems designed to protect patients increasingly prioritise compliance, governance, and reputational control.
This is not a polemic or a personal grievance, but an inquiry into integrity, intelligent disobedience, and moral injury without spectacle. The Belligerent Doctor will appeal to clinicians, healthcare leaders, academics, and readers across industries who are interested in ethics, leadership, and the human consequences of institutional decision-making.
