The author is herself a doctor who believes in God and the higher power. As a medico, where one is taught to think rationally and scientifically about situations the patient is in she finds herself overwhelmed when she had had experiences of the power of surrender. It is a promise she made to herself that come what might, she will share her humbling episodes and this resolve was strengthened during COVID era. It is only because of Sai that the book is has seen the light of the day.
