Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalTHE Parenting Handbook: compassionate, practical, and deeply wise
Sixteen years ago, Gopika Kapoor wrote 'Spiritual Parenting: Wisdom (and Wit) for Raising Your Child in a Stress-free and Spiritual Environment', which went on to sweep the world off its feet. Kapoor is now back with 'The New & Improved Spiritual Parenting', where she shares with you all that she has learned, as a therapist, a parent of twins, and as a close observer of other parents. Equal measure spiritual and sassy, this book plunges into the glorious mess of bringing up children in an age where screen time wars are fought off with mindfulness mantras. With wit and wisdom woven through, this book is much more than a primer on how to raise happy kids; it is also about how to be happy parents, and thrive through life with your child - threenager to teenager, and beyond - with zen-like serenity. Writing from experience, having brought up one neurotypical and one neurodivergent child, Kapoor's 'The New & Improved Spiritual Parenting' blends real-talk with soulful observations that will engage and provide game-changing advice in equal measure.
