Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalFame vs Glory- the subtle difference
In an exponentially interconnected world, every human activity is focused towards achieving fame. We chase fame through possessions, flaunting them as achievements. While this does give a purpose to life, inadvertently the joy of acquisition remains short lived, and we get into the race of acquiring more. This process involves constant conflict both within and with the external world. In this, the purpose of existence, life is lost, and we lose the path of self realization. Fame has its own end and does not survive beyond a point.
Glory, however, is different. Glory is not chased- it is lived. It emerges from the soul’s resonance with the world. It is subtle, silent, sometimes unseen, but enduring. It is the fragrance of a life well lived, not loud but lingering. Unlike fame, it does not need witnesses. Glory lives beyond the moment, and often, beyond the man.
And yet, the boundary between fame and glory need not always divide. Can one not live gloriously and be known? Can not the fruits of soulful living bear worldly success? To this, I answer: yes. Icons like Sachin Tendulkar, Lata Mangeshkar, Steve Jobs each followed their passion with unwavering integrity. Their fame arose not from seeking it, but from living authentically. Their glory gave birth to their fame.
Thus, I ask you - the reader, the seeker - as you journey through these pages:
Are you living to be famous, or to be glorious?
In this book, I have tried to explore this question through a constellation of characters all of whom walk paths that lead closer to their inner truth. Some stumble, some rise, all strive. Each, in their own way, attempts to live not for fame, but for something more enduring - for glory.

Nilesh B. Goradia
With over twenty-five years in the world of technology, Nilesh B. Goradia has always nurtured a parallel passion—for words that mirror life’s truths. His encounters with people and moments have redefined for him the essence of Love, Success, Knowledge, God, and Beliefs, giving them meanings beyond convention.
What began as reflections in his mother tongue, Gujarati, took form as Atmasat—a work that found deep resonance among his close circle. Encouraged by their warmth, he now offers this English edition to reach hearts across the world.
This book is dedicated to the fragrance of his life—the one who inspired these words and gave meaning to his silence.
