Pratiksha Thakur, lovingly known as “Piyu,” is a passionate Hindi writer and poet whose work reflects emotional depth, social awareness, and the quiet resilience of women. Born on 3rd November 1989, she grew up in an environment shaped by strong values, compassion, and cultural grounding. She is the beloved daughter of Late Mukesh Nath Thakur and Smt. Sunita Thakur, whose guidance, strength, and encouragement laid the foundation for her literary voice.
From an early age, Piyu was drawn to words—not merely as a form of expression, but as a means of understanding human emotions and relationships. Over the years, she developed a distinctive style rooted in observation and empathy. Her writing explores identity, conditioning, sacrifice, inner conflict, and the silent negotiations women make within families and society. She believes that beneath ordinary lives lie extraordinary stories waiting to be heard.
Piyu has authored three published books in Hindi, including two poetry collections and one short story collection.
