Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalThe book is about the power and importance of writing.
Writing is a profoundly undervalued skill, often misunderstood, underutilized, and woefully underappreciated. Writing can unlock hidden potential, foster critical thinking, and promote personal growth, yet many individuals fail to harness its benefits. Writing is often relegated to secondary status with respect to other skills.
The book is divided into four parts. The first part is titled 'Good writing moves you'. It sheds light on the 'power of words to move you'. It has real life examples to strengthen the point. It tells us how subconsciously we all get affected by and attracted to words.
The second part is titled 'Good writing empowers you'. There are two sub parts of it; it first challenges you; and second it then empowers you. It is exactly an elaboration of the two points. Writing challenges our thinking process and brings out our emotions. Once done, it empowers us by making us mentally strong, ideologically clear and emotionally sane. We can think for ourselves, it helps us to make better decisions, we are more likely to achieve written goals, serves as a tool for healing, etc.
Part three talks about 'how to make your writing better'. It has practical tips to make our writing better. Part four talks about tips to start writing, like journalling, gratitude list, words of affirmation and even including the simplest of routine things like grocery notes. The book ends with a hopeful and positive note, urging people to write more to experience its transformative power first hand.
