Dusk advances decayed window ledge,
steaming black coffee with a glare.
By the window, alone, I stare,
Birds mustering to secure nests,
mine being so far away...
Drifting so easily, to join midnight troops,
they never brood, but for the broods.
The world still whirls and dusk returns,
