Vijay Arora
I, Vijay Arora was introduced to Vethathiri Maharishi by my father in 1969 - when I was a third-year engineering student at IIT Delhi. My first encounter was a pivotal moment for me – to sit in the same room and feel connected in silence. His presence and his energy grasped me in ways hard to describe. I didn’t quite understand why, but I was intrigued and wanted to learn more of his teachings.
Swamiji would remain my close friend, respected mentor, and spiritual master—up until his samadhi in March 2006. Swamiji and his teachings continue to remain fixtures within my family. Currently living in New Jersey, USA, I am enjoying retired life with my wife Anjali, children, and grandchildren.
