Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalKashmir Shaivaite Cult has certain distinct features. Unlike other traditions, Kashmir Shaivism is a unique blend of Philosophy, Yoga and Tantra. Though the Kashmir Shaivism is also a monistic tradition, it does not support any concept that treats the existence as Maya or unreal. As per Kashmir Shaivism, everything is reality and as existence lies within Shiva consciousness which is the eternal reality, existence is also real. Nothing lies outside Shiva consciousness as the Lord envelops everything that is experienced as existence and non-existence also. The Kashmir Shaivite thought is extensively explained by Acharya Vasu Gupta in his Shiva Sutras also known as Aphorisms of Shiva." Hey! Bhole" explains the origins of concept of Shiva, existence of his prototypes across various world cultures,Vedic and non-Vedic Shiva,Shaivite philosophy, lineages along with Kashmir Shaivism and Shiva Sutras. A must in hand book for all Shiva lovers.
