Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalI have travelled around the world- from the vibrant cities of India to the elegance of Paris, the serene beauty of Switzerland, the buzz of Tokyo, the glamour of Dubai, the charm of Mauritius, and the cultural richness of places like Kodaikanal, Gir forest, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh , Goa, Maharashtra, Rajasthan but Ladakh was something else entirely, it was different. It touched my soul in a way no other pace had.
Even after the trip ended, something still felt missing. I had a lingering void inside me – a feeling I needed to put into words the old-school way. Writing this book became the perfect outlet for that emotion. Each page I wrote felt like revisiting a memory, a moment that deserved to live beyond the silence of my thoughts. The laughter, the roads, the silence of the mountains – all of it kept echoing in my heart. I wasn’t just documenting a journey; I was healing through it, trying to make sense of why it touched me so deeply.

Abhishek Lonkar doesn’t call himself an author- just someone who set out to capture a journey close to his heart. Ladakh, the life journey is his first attempt to put memories into words, a small but meaningful effort to preserve an unforgettable chapter of life. This book is not just about travel, but about friendship, adventure, and the emotions that ride along the road. It’s a tribute to the moments that deserve to be remembered for lifetime.
