Naiema Hanif

Naiema grew up in the coastal city of Mangalore amidst the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea. She obsesses over affordable Swiss furniture, loves plush toys, hates the monkeys on her balcony, laments about the apathy in the world, the capitalistic order of things, and the caging patriarchy that refuses to let go. Naiema began writing as a teen, though this is her first published book. In another life, she might've been a journalist or a lawyer; in this one, she holds up an unflinching mirror to life through her words. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Arts, working at an Al startup, building an invisible disabilities advocacy community, and is an aspiring professor.
