Dr. Abdrhman Mahmoud Gamil
Dr. Abdrhman Gamil, Bsc, Ms, PhD Pharm, sixty-nine, who is a former dean of faculty of pharmacy at Alneelain University – Sudan and Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical technology and pharmacy practice at National University of Sudan is an ex- Major General at SAF. He spent about 44 years in the field of pharmacy, most of it in the industrial pharmacy, researches and academic education. Dr. Gamil has many publications in a peered review journals, he is a member of many professional committees and societies, research supervisor and examiner of postgraduate students.
Dr. Gamil is a founder of a solid dosage form manufacturing plant, Beta-lactam capsules and dry suspension, large volume parenteral pharmaceutical plat, pharmaceutical plastic bottles, and participate in planning and erection of sterile cephalosporine plant. He is the founder and manager of the first plant in Sudan for manufacturing of single-use plastic syringes. Having this experience, it should be passed to the coming generation and that is Dr. Gamil’s message to all retired colleagues; not to bury up knowledge.
