Dr. (Col) Rajinder Singh, former Senior Adviser (Psychiatry), Armed Forces honourably served in the Punjab Government during late 1950’s under the guidance of Dr. Vidyasagar, a legend in Psychiatry. After initial stint of Service in Punjab Mental Hospital Amritsar, he joined Army and retired in 1991 and has been in voluntary social service since then. He is managing charitable dispensary in Gurdwara, Sector 34-D, Chandigarh where doctors and specialists in various disciplines of medicine are rendering social service. Besides, this Dr. (Col) Rajinder Singh has been serving as Director of two Drug De-Addiction Centres in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh under the aegis of The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib (H.P.).

Dr. Rajinder Singh has to his credit three books, “Drug Addiction” and “Be Aware Beware of Drugs”, published in English, Punjabi and Hindi; and ‘Gems of Wisdom’, a treasure trove of timeless words by philosophers, intellectuals and thinker of the world.
