Dr Bebin A, Dr Ebenezar Sam Paul
Dr. Bebin Ambrose is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry (Self-Financed Stream) at Madras Christian College, Chennai, India, where he teaches Organic and Physical Chemistry. He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemistry from Scott Christian College, Nagercoil. He qualified for UGC-JRF in December 2018 (Rank 51) and cleared GATE-2019. Dr. Bebin earned his Ph.D. in 2024 under the guidance of Dr. M. Kathiresan at CSIR–Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI), Karaikudi.
A gold medalist in his undergraduate studies, Dr. Bebin has contributed extensively to supramolecular chemistry, covalent organic networks, metal–organic frameworks, and redox-active materials. He has published widely in high-impact journals including J. Mater. Chem. A, Small, Energy Technology, Scientific Reports, ChemComm, and several ACS journals. His current research advances supramolecular assemblies, energy storage materials, and catalytic systems.
Dr. Bebin has delivered several invited lectures in workshops, conferences, research colloquia, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), where he speaks on scientific writing, electrochemical materials, and emerging trends in chemical research. He has also presented at national conferences and received a Best Oral Presentation award.
