Gp Capt R Vijayakumar (Retd), VSM:
Gp Capt R Vijayakumar (Retd), VSM, has been the Executive Director of the Madras Management Association (MMA) since April 2007. A decorated Indian Air Force officer, he received the Vishisht Seva Medal from the President of India for distinguished service and multiple commendations during his service.
A graduate of Loyola, Chennai, he holds an LLB and multiple master’s degrees in management. Under his dynamic leadership, MMA thrived, earning AIMA’s Best Management Association in India award 14 times in a row, including for the year 2022-23. In 2019, he received a lifetime achievement award from the Rotary Club, Chennai. He is also active in various educational and community organizations.
V Viswanathan:
V Viswanathan is a corporate trainer, motivational speaker, author, consultant and visiting faculty at business schools. He compiles and edits articles for Madras Management Association’s monthly magazine, Business Mandate.
He has worked for over three decades in senior positions in India and Oman. He has written more than 200 articles and 50 short stories for leading newspapers and magazines. He is the author of the book, An Impish Grandpa, which is a collection of humorous articles. He has won awards for his writings from The Times of Oman and The British Council, Oman.
