Francis Rust

Francis Rust was born on the 1st of May, 1985, in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia to Dr Francis Anthony Thomas and Rose Ann Marie Fernandez. When Rust was a young child, his parents had divorced, and therefore, his mother and three older siblings had cared for him mostly.

A daily experience in the life of young Francis Rust was being immersed in a lot of 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s pop and rock music, which became the foundation for his love of Rock N Roll.

Being the youngest in the family, Rust always felt alone and different from his siblings, and never had a definite role model. He only grew up to realize that no child should ever feel this way, no matter the consequences.

With the influence of his best friends from age 15, they fuelled his wild spirits and further engaged him to a certain type of magic called Heavy Metal. Since then, the gods of Heavy Metal and Rock N Roll had ignited his mind and soul, offering the guidance he had long needed. With riffs, lyrics, and rock anthems constantly echoing in his mind, he moves through life energized—staying happy, healthy, creative, and uniquely himself.
