Dr. Sushila S. Fonseca was born in Goa, grew up in Kenya, qualified in Mumbai and returned to settle in Goa.
She is a multifaceted person, for she is a consultant pathologist, an author and a Goa State Cultural Award winner (Literature 2018-2019).
Her inspiration to write comes from her interaction with patients and her deep love for Goa. She has written multiple fiction and non-fiction books including a biography. 'When Faith Divides' is her second historical novel.
