Prof Vinod Huria is a visionary researcher, technologist, and management leader, celebrated for his expertise in the food industry. An alumnus of BITS Pilani, he began his career at CFTRI Mysore under the guidance of Dr KT Achaya, solidifying his standing in innovative developmental research. At NDDB Anand, he played an important role in implementing the Operation Flood program, which modernized India's dairy sector, transforming it into the world's largest. His initiative in planning tree growers' cooperatives integrated agro-forestry with sustainability principles.
With over 35 years in the Government of India institutions, he has significantly advanced planning, R&D management, technology transfer, and curriculum development. Prof Huria has mentored generations of food technologists at CFTRI Mysore, inspiring them to address real-world industry challenges. As a prolific author of groundbreaking papers and reports, he has chaired conferences in India and abroad, effectively bridging academia and practical application.
