Vikram Cotah is an Indian hospitality thought leader, Chief Executive Officer at GRT Hotels, food stylist, model, actor and author.
He overcame his fear of heights with a 150-foot bungee jump off the original Kawarau Bridge in Queenstown, New Zealand; lived through a devastating tsunami in Chennai, India; and survived a 7.2-magnitude earthquake in Cebu, the Philippines. His travel experiences to more than a hundred and twenty places in thirty-six countries in five continents have taught him about life. He uses these in leading his organisation. And he shares these with you in this book.
An alumnus of the IHM Bangalore and e-Cornell University, he has spent over three decades leading luxury hotels and quick service restaurants in Asia. Vikram is passionate about the food business. He has conceptualised several award-winning restaurants in hotels.
Vikram Cotah was nominated for the Best General Manager award for Radisson Hotels Asia Pacific. He is a committee member of the Hotel Association of India – Tamil Nadu Chapter, advisory member for Tamil Nadu tourism and a member of the Hotel Classification Committee. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt and an ISO 22000 internal lead auditor.
